Channel error is internal to the spotify library - I am not sure if the
newer library improves this (released a week or so ago), but I will be
moving to it with the next release.  

For the playlist case can you narrow it down to which playlist causes
this?  Which version of the plugin are you running, I thought it should
show you all the playlists it can just missing the bad ones?
