Glad to hear it's coming. While recognizing this is about personal
preference. I did try to give a concrete practical justification and
would point out that using thumbnails works well on both the hardware
controller and the Logitech iPhone App (At least IMO, plus I have never
seen any threads complaining that they use thumbnails). Still, it is a
tradeoff and De gustibus non est disputandum...

Sorry, I had an hallucination here since we had discussed thumbnails

Yes, I mean the hardware controller. If you haven't used it, you might
not realize what a difference this makes.

Actually, I was aware of it, and it helps, but is not the same thing. I
can certainly live with that, esp. if caching isn't supported by the
current architecture, but maybe I can plant a seed... :)
