I wonder if there is something in the cache for SDT, that is causing your issues? I do know that I had deleted the cache, when SDT began having problems this time in the hopes that it would help, which of course it didn't until the updated Plugin.pm was posted. So it might be worth a try to stop SqueezeServer, delete the SDT cache and then restart SqueezeServer. Which will force SDT to refresh with new info, in the off chance that there's some odd stuff that isn't being cleared. Just trying to help troubleshoot.....
