For 7.5.* the plugins that let you access BBC iPlayer past program are BBc iPlayer and BBC iPlayerExtra. IIRC WhatsOn only worked with older versions of SBS.
Installation of plugins has been automated from about 7.3.x so no need to mess with zip files. On SBS Web interface - Click "Plugins" Tab. Then find the BBC iPlayer plugin under Recommended 3rd Party plugin. Check the box and click Apply.
