I'd like some help to test my plugins with 7.6 to ensure we find most of
the issues before the official 7.6 release.
I've just released the following:
- SQLPlayList 2.5.3359
- CustomBrowse 2.11.3358
- CustomScan 2.8.3357
The above contains some corrections for 7.6 but feel free to also
report bugs on the other of my plugins when used with latest 7.6 beta
version.
Try to describe what steps you take to reproduce a problem and which
interface (Web, Player, Controller, iPeng/SqueezePad) it exists in. I
think it's easiest if everyone just report the problems by posting in
this thread.
Also please not that I don't plan to officially support MySQL on 7.6, I
suspect it mostly work but it will take too much time to maintain both
SQLite and MySQL so I plan to officially only support:
- 7.5 and earlier with MySQL
- 7.6 and later with SQLite
The FishboneCB skin is still included with Custom Browse but consider
this to be unsupported as Logitech have removed the Fishbone skin in
7.6.
Patches for MySQL on 7.6 will be considered, I just don't want to do
the work myself as I've other more exiting Squeezebox related stuff I'd
like to focus on myself.
I've only run some brief tests on the plugins myself with 7.6 but I am
using them in my 7.6 living room setup so I think they should be fairly
functional.
The problems I know of so far is:
- Custom Browse: FishboneCB skin included, should not be registered if
7.6 is used
- Custom Scan: Dynamic Tags menu extremely slow
