Contact Logitech support if you like help to solve your problem.
Generally speaking the Spotify service sometimes have connection
problems and probably specifically today since there are a lot of users
in US who are about to try it. So wait a while and try another track and
if it still doesn't work contact Logitech support.
You can of course choose to wait here for some from Logitech developer
to spot this thread, but I suspect they won't start any investigation
based on this thread since the support team doesn't monitor these
community forums, there are just a few Logitech developers reading
posts sometimes.

Logitech is never going to add all the features which is in the third
party plugin, so make sure to wish for specific features which you
think is critical and is missing instead of just wishing that it
generally is improved.
My experience is that Logitech tends to prioritize features that
either:
- Makes the system simpler to setup/configure to lower support costs
or
- Makes the system easier to maintain/support to lower
support/maintenance costs
or
- Adds features which is big enough to be mentioned in the marketing
material to increase sales
I believe none of the extra features provided by the current third
party Spotify plugin is related to any of these categories.
