Were you running SBS as a service ? You have a lot of other error messages in your log file - is SBS running OK after you make the change ? if so then the change has not worked.
I don't use Windows so I cannot debug your situation. How are you running SBS ? IIRC there were 3 choices - manual, on login and as a service. YTou need to stop SBS and then configure it to run manual or on login.
