Hi all, I'll preface this by saying I've never installed a plugin - I've been a basic Squeezebox 3 owner for years - it's always worked for me. I love it. Even jacked the power supply to give it more oomph.
I've also been a Squeezebox Duet owner for years. Hate it. Biggest techy PITA I own, and that says a lot. Wife hates it more - lost a lot of face there. This was going to be music nirvana a couple of years ago. Joke's on me. Anyway, so here I am trying to get Spotify to work with the Duet, trying to recover some of that face. I have my premium account, understand the official app won't work without a newer player, and that I need Triode's plugin (yay!). Here's the rub...on the server settings, under plugins, there is NO option for 3rd party plugins. All I have is is command line, Last.fm, iTunes, Favorites, and customize device. This is on 7.5.5. What am I missing?? Is my installation hosed? Or do I need an earlier server version? Is there a way to just drop the plugin into the folder?
