Erland, I have done more research (I should have done before - sorry - Works by Composer is my most used menu). This problem occurs for many (probably all) CB menus when I get down to a WORK that contains a single quote.
SB Menus are fine playing songs with the single quote in the title (which is a concatenation of WORK and MOVEMENT) I surmise this is related to the handling of Custom Scan and non-standard tags in the extravalue attribute.
