I actually already have a very simple plugin for 7.7 which would provide  
access to the images from the web UI and the players. I haven't had much  
time to spend on it, but I hope features like the favorites might be  
easily added at some point.

Right now we provide browsing by folder, "album" (which is the folder name  
without the hierarchy), flat list of dates, year/month/day hierarchy.
