Softsqueeze is maintained by community so if you need it fixed - you
will have to help.

What do you mean by "sometimes die"
- crash
- disconnects
- stop playing music ?
- no display ?

Does Softsqueeze work OK most of the time ?
Does Softsqueeze work with no problems for you with SBS 7.6 on a local
LAN ?

I am not familiar with SSH with Softsqueeze but I can't see why
something in 7.6 would break SSH. I feel it is more likely something
on the server perhaps a load issue as Softsqueeze requires transcoding
of many formats.

If so then describe your SSH setup.
