Actually, with the settings you've chosen, it shouldn't work at all.
What do you want to have happen between 5:00 and 20:00? It sounds like
you want the server to NOT suspend under any circumstances during that
time. If so, then use these settings:

System Idle Monitor:

Monitor the system for idle conditions? [checked]
Monitor Idle Squeezebox Players? [checked]
Idle network IO threshold: [0]
Idle disk IO threshold: [0]
CPU load threshold: [0]
Custom Idle check command: [blank]
Allowed system idle time: [240] minutes
Action to take after idle time: [Do nothing, i.e. stay awake!]

End of day:

Perform end-of-day action? [checked]
Allowed system idle time: [45] minutes
End-of-day start & end times (HH:MM): [20:00] [05:00]
Action to take after idle time: [Suspend Server]

Think of the End of Day period as a "special case" of the normal System
Idle Monitor...a "special case" where you can vary the allowed idle time
and the action for that EOD period. But if you have "normal" System
Idle Monitoring defeated (as you did) then it's not going to work
during the EOD period either. The fact that you were seeing -some
action- during the EOD period is a bug / feature of SrvrPowerCtrl that
wasn't intended to be used the way you were trying to use it. It
understandably caused you some confusion, I know. I'm still trying to
decide if the edge-case that no System idle Monitoring + EOD covers is
worth keeping. The alternative is No System Idle Monitoring == No EOD
too. Keeping the former allows for a sort of poor-man's daily cron job
to be fired off even when not doing system idle monitoring.
