Could you try to temporary install the "Database Query" plugin and
report the results from its "Squeezebox Server Inconsistency/Problems",
"TrackStat Inconsistency/Problems" and "TrackStat Statistics" queries ?
I suspect the issue is either related to duplicated musicbrainz id tags
in your music files or some bug causing the SBS database to have
duplicated entries for the tracks, the statistics reports from
DatabaseQuery plugin should be able to visualize if this is the case.
I think TrackStat currently presumes that a musicbrainz track id is
unique, so if there are multiple tracks in the library with same
musicbrainz track id tag values that could explain the reason why so
many rows are updated. Do you think there is a chance you have a lot of
duplicates in your music library library ?
