Thank you for your help - I ended up running Squeezebox server from the
command line, and even though I had Windows firewall OFF, it was still
processing program-specific rules....A firewall message popped up for
spotifyd, I allowed it, and now all is well.

Thanks again - the sound from the Ogg Spotify Stream is outstanding - I
may be cancelling Rhapsody.
