The latest TrackStat version which I just released will allow you to
change rating directly from the Song Info page, it will also add a "TS"
button on the Song Info page so you can get to the full TrackStat view.
I had this code partly written already before but for some reason I
hadn't activated it, I don't remember exactly why so let me know if it
behaves incorrect under some circumstances. It was written before 7.4
so it might just be that it didn't behave properly in 7.3.x and earlier
releases, I suspect this might be the issue and then we don't have a
problem as this new version is only available for SBS 7.4 and later
releases.

Logitech has removed the support for adding extra buttons, so
unfortunately this means that you will have to go through the "M"
button in the future.
The reason for this change is to make the code less complex and easier
to maintain, the disadvantage is the one you have just noticed, it will
require more clicks to reach the function you like to access.
