I am trying to troubleshoot WOL problems on a Vortexbox (v1.9), but with no success. I am no Linux expert, but following the advices I find on the Vortexbox forum doesn't get me anywhere.
When I type "ethtool et0" I get: Settings for eth0: No data available But when I try "ifconfig" I get: eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:30:05:D2:B8:09 inet addr:192.168.1.10 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 inet6 addr: fe80::230:5ff:fed2:b809/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:1325 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:1462 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:479278 (468.0 KiB) TX bytes:728408 (711.3 KiB) Interrupt:23 Apart form the wake on LAN problems my Vortexbox works just fine (I use it exclusively for Squeezebox server). Can someone please give me hand?
