Following the guidance here:

http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Setup_browse_menu_for_classical_music

I expected to encounter this message when (finally) 'browsing':
"No matching songs, albums or artists were found"
Because I have not (yet) added any custom tags to my classical music
files, nor have have I departed (yet) from the simple ARTIST=composer
(Mozart, etc), and Title=Symphony No1 etc, which I had already used to
get basic SBS browsing work with a few (maybe 400) classical files.

(Similar initial guidance was given here:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/BeginnersGuideToClassical ).

So, so far, no surprise, and I'm not worried. Because, our classical
files only have ARTIST and TITLE and ALBUM tags in them, and the CB
example menus don't use those tags. But, wanting to test CB by adding
a Custom Browse menu that used ARTIST as tag 1 and TITLE as tag 2 - and
enabling that menu through to the browse page - has also resulted in
this text:

"No matching songs, albums or artists were found"

which does worry me because I expected it to find all the files because
they all have ARTIST and TITLE tags. As a newbie, could I ask:

(a) assuming my self-built custom browse menu is correct, should the
new menu have found my existing files? Or have I missed something - eg
do I have to do another scan of some kind?

If CB should have found my existing files, then I guess my home-built
menu is defective. If so, I'll delete it, and copy the first example
from the wiki, replacing its tags of "COMPOSER and WORK" with just
"ARTIST and TITLE" and see if that works.

Grateful for any suggestions,

regards, Atlantic
