in multiple formats:
1) track transcoded to PCM
2) track transcoded to MP3 (but transcoded MP3 is only offered if you
have LAME installed -- see below)
3) non transcoded track in whatever is its native format

I don't know your Onkyo, but some players are -- shall we say -- not
very compliant to DLNA specifications. According to the DLNA
specifications the baseline "must support" format is PCM, so in theory
your Onkyo ought to accept and play offer 1) above. However, quite a
few players don't support PCM, but then in theory they should fall back
to accepting and playing offer 2) above; but you don't have LAME
installed, so offer 2) is not currently being offered...

=> So my advice to you is as follows:
i) Check the specifications of your player. Does it support PCM? If so,
then it OUGHT to be accepting offer 1), and in this case there is
probably some other problem needing to be resolved...
ii) Install LAME, and try again. In which case offer 2) will be made,
and your player should accept that offer and play it.

transcoding non MP3 tracks to MP3 -- or vice versa.
