I haven't had the time to check this yet but as far as I can see the
"itemtype" is correct in both menus. I suspect the issue might be that
you have <playtype>none</playtype> on the parent menu in the singles
menu, you can try to remove this and see if it works better.
If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll take a closer look at the
code to see what's going on.
Something that could also be worth a try if you never want to access
track details, is to remove the section:

I'm not sure this will work but it's this part that makes it possible
to browse track details.
