Since you are using 7.6.1 - HTTP/AAC is the "normal" live stream format and so if the bug is affecting your servers - then you would find that using WMA for "live" streams would deliver a more reliable service.
However the bug only affects transcoded AAC streams which means the bug would not affect playing live HTTP/AAC streams on your SBRadio. So a little more info on which combination of format AAC/WMA, server old/new and player radio/SB3 - works or fails would be helpful as there are 6 combinations. I think this bug might explain the problems with "live" stream format - upgrading to 7.6.2 would test this out.
