I have the alpha version of CustomScan. It has never worked (in the
sense that it does not add custom tags when doing a nightly SBS scan
for new and changed music and that it seems to never actually finish),
but it has not done any harm either until this morning. I triggered a
manual scan for new and changed music and playback stopped and it has
been that way for over an hour with this in the server.log:

I should have the latest version since I restarted SBS just before
triggering the rescan.
It was not possible to stop SBS using the tray icon so I had to kill
the Squeezebox process with task manager.
