I’m not complaining, but their selection of ‘Similar Artists’ is a bit
too literal for me. I can only speak to my experience with jazz so
far, but if you select a piano player you’re going to get a big dose of
keyboard players from Bill Evans to Herbie Hancock which is a bit of a
stretch IMHO. Same with a female vocalist, you’re going to get almost
exclusively female vocalists. Saxaphone? Two hours of Sax players,
and so on.

I guess I wish they had a “Similar Music” feature? In time I can build
my own playlist, it’s just going to be a little more difficult and
require more user involvement than selecting, for example, Jazz
vocalists, or Classic Jazz, and then occasionally thumbs up or downing
a tune here or there as some of the other services I’ve used allow you
to do. Perhaps I just haven't figured out how to get MOG to return
similiar results based more on genre/sub genre?

Still, I’m loving’ this service and the sound quality is a non
fatiguing delight. No turnin' back for me. I'm hooked!
