I've implemented a very preliminary alpha version of TrackStat plugin
for 7.6 and later which following changes:
1. Added a new urlmd5 which should enhance the performance of some
TrackStat menus (not those provided through Custom Browse yet)
2. Improved layout on iPeng (now uses special layout for list of
tracks)
3. Improved layout on Touch/Radio/Controller and other third party
Android/iOS clients (now uses double line layout)
4. Touch to play support in iPeng (including playing all tracks in
album)
5. Touch to play support on Touch/Radio/Controller and other third
party Android/iOS clients (doesn't currently support playing all tracks
in album)
Since I wasn't 100% sure I've got the database layout with the new
urlmd5 column correct in all places, I though I'd post this as an alpha
before I've had the time to test it properly. I think it will work but I
would like anyone trying to to make sure you have a backup so you have a
way to go back if something is wrong.
The things I'd like help to test is:
- Performance of TrackStat menus, is it better than before ?
- Bugs and strange behavior
To install it you need to add the following repository to SBS
Settings/Plugins:

And then just upgrade/install the TrackStat alpha version that appears
in the list.
If you try this alpha version and find some issues:
- Describe the issues and post back to this thread
Also, please post back in this thread also if you try it and it works
without any problems as I'd like to know if someone has tested it.
It might be a good idea to remove the alpha repository from SBS
Settings after you have installed it since the same repository also
contains an alpha version of Custom Scan which you might not want
unless you want to help testing that too.
I hope to be able to release it officially within the next weeks, just
want to test it a bit more first to make sure it doesn't contain a lot
of new bugs.
