It's where the progress information for rescans will be shown and I wanted people to notice that there is not just an empty space. Right now I could not move the Advanced Settings item upwards because I want to use the same view for iPad and iPhone and the iPhone App doesn't have and will not get the web configuration feature because there is no LMS skin that works on iPhone (for settings).

I believe I know what they are coming from and have already fixed it a few days ago but didn't want to pull the build. It has to do with the notification popoups which get assigned to a wrong player. I'm about to change the database model in an upcoming version now that I don't have to support iOS 3 anymore but I'm not sure this will give you full offline access to the database.
