Anyone else using these? They're available on the Android market as paid apps which cost a few dollars/pounds but are well worth it IMO.

Thanks to Squeeze Player I've been able to turn my Xperia Play into a mini-squeezebox player. In my case, very handy in conjunction with the Play dock and a set of mini speakers. Squidget is the best way so far of using your phone/tab to control Squeezebox. It's pretty much what I was hoping for back when I first got a Squeezebox but up until now nothing on iPhone or Android really delivered, due to the need to launch an app. Having simple buttons on a widget makes much more sense as you can have your controller on your homescreen if you want, eliminating faffing around with kicking something off. These small, clever apps really show the power and flexibility of the Squeezebox system and how it can integrate into an overall home automation setup. -- slimfast ------------------------------------------------------------------------ slimfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29669 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92571 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
