Unfortunately there is no way to avoid this with Random Mix plugin.
If you use Dynamic Playlist+SQL Playlist plugin it will work because
then the skipping happens before the track is added to current
playlist.
With Random Mix plugin there is no easy way for Custom Skip to skip the
track until after it has been set to currently playing track and in some
setups this means that the track starts to play a second before it
skips. It doesn't happen in all setups, I suspect it depends on the
speed of the computer running SBS, network bandwidth and music format
used but I haven't investigated it in detail.

Is both Custom Skip and TrackStat indicated as licensed in License
Manager plugin ?
If only Custom Skip is indicated as licensed, try applying for a free
30 day evaluation license to TrackStat and see if that solves the
problem.
