Actually to the opposite.
iPeng now also uses a big buffer and the bigger the buffer the worse it
gets.

I kind of suspected that the SBs don't use the buffer at all or not
fully and that this would make the difference.

As I said: I see much more issues when playing in sync, when playing
alone there is some rare stutter but not the changes in playback speed
and things.
My server's processor is faster than the SheevaPlug's, though.
