Generally it sounds like the uninstall didn't work properly and left
some but not all files in the
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SocialMusicDiscovery
directory. It could be some bug so it didn't shutdown the plugin before
it tried to delete the files and due to this there were processes
running and it didn't succeed to completely remove all files, in this
case removing them manually and restarting the server should solve the
issue.

I'm not 100% sure of the directory path mentioned above, but you should
be able to find it through SBS Settings/Information tab as it specifies
where the Cache directory is stored on the disk.
