I've used 'this soundcard' (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Steinberg-Ci1-USB-audio-interface-NEW-/251039012221?pt=Midi_Controllers&hash=item3a7317557d) with 'this microphone' (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Behringer-ECM8000-Measurement-Microphone-RTA-Mic-/200712203005?pt=UK_Music_Instruments_Microphones_MJ&hash=item2ebb612afd). I couldn't get the FIR software to work properly, but I managed to make Inguz EQ the bass in my living room into submission. A considerable improvement IMO, and my system isn't even ultra resolving/expensive.
