I have now monitored the network activity during three situations:

1. Working (as it always does) under Windows (the first increase is the
start of the song)
2. Starting with the halting during approx. one second under Linux (this
happens before the first abrupt decrease in the second picture)
3. Continuous one second pauses under Linux (never stops with this, but
ultimately skips tune)(the first increase is the start of the song)

In Linux, when it works, the bitrate looks as in Windows, it seems to
buffer with small intervals. Then, when it malfunctions, I cannot
observe these bufferings anymore. Is there anything that can be deduced
from this? Can this really be a firewall problem?
