The sugarcube aproach has the feature of still usings LMS own database , while the official ones simply import the MIP dB , if you think LMS has scanning bugs, well the abandoned MIP have some more .
The clunky thing in both occasions is that you have to remember to scan your music in another application ( MIP ) to keep it up to date . And in my case as the headless MIp server is another machine it includes some hands on deleting of files etc .
