sorry pluto007 I use the 'Hide Menus' plugin to replace the standard ones in the home menu - no sub menus.
To access 'Albums' on the touch my structure is: My Music > Albums. Interestingly today it seems my 'Albums' menu is exhibiting the behaviour you mention - it won't launch the pop-up to allow it to be added to the home menu.
