It's possible through the web interface by using Custom Browse plugin and either: - Setting up a header with objecttype "albumheader" and template "Album information files". Which results in that they show up as a link in the album headers in the Custom Browse based browse menus. or - Setting up a header with objecttype "album" and template "Album information files", which result in that they should up as an item in the "Browse by selected" mixer when opening the context menu of an album.
