So for awhile I have been able to play music via my iPad at work by VPN into my home network to connect to my Squeezebox. I decided to open up ports 9000 TCP and 3483 UDP to only my work IP to eliminate needing the VPN (it was just a pain and would drop out and have to reconnect, and I suspect this was causing iPeng to get in a weird state of playing music but not responding to inputs). To do this of course I need to configure another "server" in iPeng to point to my server externally. That works and I see all my players EXCEPT the iPad player. If I connect to my local server either at home or via VPN I see the iPad Player.
Any ideas why this would be?
