Before I go on - this is a description of a fix for a problem, not a
request for help. Just thought I'd document it here as it took me a
while to sort out and the 'google route' was a bit circuitous.

Background... I'd had the Triode plugin working fine before, but after a
factory reset, problems started. I could test the plugin via the 'Start
Test' button on the Plugins tab as many times as I liked. The moment I
try to actually *play* a track, the helper daemon crapped out.

Saw this in the server log;

[12-09-28 08:59:31.8308] Slim::Utils::PluginManager::load (348)
Warning: Couldn't call Slim::Plugin::CLI::Plugin->initPlugin: Can't
setup the listening port 9090: An attempt was made to access a socket in
a way forbidden by its access permissions. at
/<C:\PROGRA~1\SQUEEZ~1\server\SQUEEZ~3.EXE>Log/Log4perl/Logger.pm line

After some fruitless googling, eventually, found an article on
clubnavigator [.co.uk/knowledgebase/topic.asp?id=295] (forum's doing
that 'can't post a URL on first post' palaver)

I just went down the route of removing the offending registry key
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\MaxUserPort),
restarted the spotifyd daemon, and, whoomph... Bill Evans!

I have LMS running on a pretty 'busy' machine - XBMC with SABnzbd,
CouchPotato, Sickbeard etc. - a lot of open ports! I'm guessing
something I'd installed had set/bumped up the registry value.

Not sure it's pertinent but for the record my setup is;

SB Duet - 7.7.2 r9663 (wired ethernet)
Logitech Media Server: Version: 7.7.2 - r33893 running on Windows 7
Triode Spotify Plugin: 2.2.9
