I have both Album Review and Biography installed - only Biography works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled either/both applications with no change in functionality. Using LMS 7.7.2 - r33893 on a Win7/64 machine.
What UIs are you using? How are you invoking the plugins? Any error messages? Anything in server.log?
