I can't help you with the methods you are using as I decided to go purchase either Audiolense or Acourate (both Windows) to do the sweep recordings and generate the filters for Inguz. The two programmes are quite expensive and have different approaches - Audiolense, for 2 speakers, is more straightforward to use whereas Acourate has more options but, when using it, it *definitely* helps if you aren't phased by techie matters. (Acourate is definitely the more "challenging" to use.)
The developers of both programmes seem to be very eager to help overcome any problems and both offer trial versions. Both let you get a feel for the programme. The Audiolense trial enables you to generate 90 seconds of corrected music (but no correction filters). The developer of the Acourate trial offers to correct two music files of up to 5 minutes if you send him those files together with the 'pulse' files. I had a problem with Audiolense - it generated corrected music files that were -20dB lower than my original. This is almost certainly because of something peculiar in my PC or room environment. Anyway, because of that I went for Acourate and am currently trying to familiarise myself with it, etc, etc. I have the impression that most people here who have gone down the Audiolense/Acourate route have plumped for Audiolense. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JohnB's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74712 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
