What are the "Browse configuration directory", "Browse templates
directory" and "Context templates directory" parameters in Custom Browse
settings page set to ?
Do they point to directories which also contain a lot of other files ?
If they do, that could be the problem, they should all point to separate
directories which only contains Custom Browse configuration files
created when you configure the Custom Browse based menus.

Another thing to try is to shutdown LMS, manually remove the
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/PluginCache-CustomBrowse.db file and
then start LMS and see if that solves it.

Possibly some of the changes Logitech has made recently in 7.7.3 could
have broken something, but I'll need to arrange so I have a working
7.7.3 version in my own setup to verify if that's the case. I can't find
any obvious in Logitech change logs so I suspect this isn't the cause.
