Yea, sorry for that. Got screwed by Apple's tools. This is really a mysterious issue. There's a somewhat weird process to make an App use fullscreen mode on iPhone 5: you need to provide a fitting launch image in the correct size, with a certain naming convention and register it as the launch image for 4" displays. Why they don't just have a flag in the configuration file stating "this App supports 4" displays" is beyond me.
Now, iPeng does all of that. The configuration is there, the file is there (I can even find both in the App on the App Store), XCode (the development kit) tells me it's correct, I've run test builds on devices and the simulator and they were all fine. Now I have some idea of what might have been _different_ to the latest working builds (for them, i had just thrown the file in my launch images folder with the correct name, this time I also set the launch image in the toolkit which is actually what you are supposed to do, after all, that's what that menu is for; I believe it created a duplicate which might be irritating the packaging process for the App Store, don't know, but would explain why I don't see the same problem with my test builds). Now since there is little chance that I can get up another update soon (actually the one yesterday was sheer luck and Apple being nice; which makes it even more annoying that it doesn't work) I don't think playing trial & error on the App Store makes sense (you can't test the actual builds going to the store since they will only run after Apple has signed them). I submitted another update but also filed a support ticket, let's see what comes out of that. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm afraid that version will probably stay in the store until end of year since the App Store is going on vacation on Friday. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
