Let's keep fingers crossed! > 0.93 solved my issues, just to make sure it worked, I removed the smartmix.db and smartmix.prefs file and restarted it and it correctly found my catalog at the echo nest server when the server started and the scanning worked properly and took 22 seconds for my library.
