Could you please enable debugging for plugin.smartmix, re-run a scan, then upload the scanner.log file?

well, is my library maybe too big?
As Erland said: "A taste profile can have up to 100,000 items in it." (from http://developer.echonest.com/docs/v4/catalog.html). But checking the profiles this does not seem to be a hard limit. I do see a catalog with 230k entries. Must be yours. The scanner.log should tell us whether we're hitting that limitation here or something else. Please give it a try.
