More system details please ( much more really , you get better answers with more specific questions )..
But as a starter are you using wifi , if so try without it ( as a test ,not permanently ) ? Are you using you Internet bandwith for something else like massive downloading or some such . How is you Internet bandwith and conection in general ? Try to get some more info from the players own status menus ( hidden in the settings somewhere ) . Spotify ?
