Hi I'm using squeezelite as a pairing for the SkweezyDS plugin. For those that are not familiar with this plugin it allows owners of the Linn DS players to be controlled by LMC / controlers by intercepting any commands meant for a nominated Squeezeboxn and redirects to the Linn DS upnp player
The Linn player can accept most known formats and decode locally ( doesnt require transcoding on server ) and I am trying to preserve this behaviour. All my files are in ALAC, and a fair few in 24/96 and all works fine playing via either the Linn upnp server or the LMC server But I am trying to see if there is any unwanted conversion of files being carried out ( including downsampling of 96/24 files ) by either Squeezelite or LMC.
