I just had a look at the composer request and there is one thing you could try. If you open the Squeezebox Server webseite (http://yourSBIP:9000) and go to Settings => My Music. Tick the Composer check box at the top and then Apply at the bottom. This will include composer information in Artists. Upside is you get composer names - downside is you seem to be getting artists mixed with composers. If you then switch to Soundicity you have to clear the menu cache so that the artist cache can be rebuilt the next time you open artists. So, in Soundicity open the application bar menu at the bottom and select Settings. Then open the Caching menu item and tap on Clear Cache. Tap the back button twice to get back. The next time you browse to Artists, they will also contain Composers. Let me know if that works for you.
