Make that (at least) a party of 2.  The upshot is we all want the old
behavior back, i.e. a period-aware weather *forecast* shown at all times
(without any remote up/down interaction required) presented along with
current conditions.  The current behavior is particularly challenging
for me as I use a universal remote, a Harmony 1, which is "activity"
aware.  So, when I'm watching TV (or, more often, when the AV system is
completely off) I have to go through hoops just to *get* to the "up/down
button on the remote".
