I'm still thinking this over and what I failed to mention is that I tend to keep all my SBs synched to one another. Meaning that I tend to start listening in a room, move elsewhere in my apartment, turn on the SB there and keep on listening to the same music. This poses an additional problem as: 1) If I start playing DTS music in the living room, other family members might erroneously decide to turn on players somewhere else (non DTS enabled). Two of these players have transcoding activated, due to wi-fi bandwidth problems. Hence transcoded DTS to MP3 causes the receiver in the living room to start reproducing white noise. If I was listening to an high volume... it's a mess. 2) My living room has an adjacent room that can be influenced by the Harmony remote I use to control the living room SB. Once more with the risk that the transcoding is activated by mistake, white noise, mess. So basically I would like to understand what the behaviour of your plugins is when dealing with synched players. Thanks. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gorman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90410 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
