Thanks WhaleOil- i think that's probably the case, I removed the plugin from both places, restarted SC, reinstalled from the plugin repository, and it worked. tried editing the install.xml file as you suggest, and after editing the plugin stopped working. uninstalled, reinstalled a few times, and it's back now. more over, cover art is once again displaying on the Touch (used as a controller).
