The BBC implements geoIP on that URL 56kbps for non UK and 320kbps for UK originated. When VLC on your UK based PC starts playing that URL - the stream is started from UK and so 320kbps. When playing the URL as a Favorite from a LMS on your UK based PC - the stream is started from UK and so 320kbps. When playing the URL as a Favorite from mysqueezebox.com - the stream is started from non-UK server (usually in Germany) and so 56kbps. Playing the R3 from Triode's applet can ensure BBC geoIP check is actually where the Radio/Touch is located and so get a 320kbps stream. If the display doesn't say 320kbps then you are not playing 320kbps. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99133 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
