Yes, search results are being cached for 5mins.
Looks like it has to be compiled in my Perl / platform version to be usable...
I checked my NAS: while it seems to have the same/very similar perl, it didn't come with any dev tools. I didn't have time yet to set it all up, but will look into it asap.
