I'll check whether something could be done on the mysb.com side of things.
It's actually a bit of both, a mysb.com server side of issue as well as a (missing) plugin feature. mysb.com should not return items which cannot be played, or at least fix the track's duration when only a sample is available. The plugin could then filter based on that information. I'll look into this...
